The hot tub was a perfect treat after a long day of hiking. Beds provided a nice night's sleep, and the shower had great water pressure. Staff was super helpful with local advice and even offered transport to the Tongariro crossing. The dining area was nice, but the lack of access to a full kitchen during rain was a bit inconvenient. Walls were really thin, so I heard conversations from the next room clearly. Overall, a pleasant stay with some room for improvement.

Noise from adjacent rooms could be an issue at night!!! The shared bathroom experience seemed inconvenient for many guests, even if it worked for a quick wash!!!

The facilities were well-maintained with

various communal areas to relax, such as a large living room and equipped kitchen. The hosts, John and Jill, were incredibly warm and offered helpful suggestions for local activities, making my stay enjoyable. However, sound isolation could be improved, as some noise traveled from neighboring rooms.

The owners were incredibly welcoming, and we appreciated the option to prepare our meals in the well-equipped studio. The change of plans that required us to add an extra night was handled seamlessly, and we found the location to be perfect for accessing the nearby Mt Ruapehu. The laundry facilities were also a great convenience after a long day hiking the Tongariro route.

We had a fantastic stay at this lodge while exploring everything Tongariro National Park has to offer, including some splendid trails. The staff were super kind, especially when my granddaughter needed help with her boots. Plus, the WiFi was fast and made it easy to share our adventure photos!

My children wished for more kid-friendly dining options.

We had a great time at Adventure Lodge And Motels And Tongariro Crossing Track Transport! The location is perfect for the Tongariro Alpine Crossing, and the staff were super helpful, especially Dutchie, who provided fantastic insights about the park. The communal areas were cozy, and the laundry facilities made it easy to keep our gear fresh during our 5-night stay.

I stayed in an Economy Double Room with a shared bathroom for 2 nights. The room was clean and spacious, which I really appreciated. The bed was super comfy, and I loved the strong shower. However, the walls were thin, so I could hear conversations from the neighbors, which was a bit distracting at times. Overall, my stay was quite nice.

The location was great (lots of dining options nearby! ), and the staff was genuinely helpful with local tips. Enjoyed using the hot tub after a day of hiking. BBQ facilities were a plus too!

Our stay at Adventure Lodge was fantastic! The owners, Gillian and John, went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. They delivered a delicious breakfast roll and a great packed lunch tailored to our dietary preferences, which was perfect for the Tongariro Crossing. Plus, they offered a very informative shuttle ride with John sharing stories and tips about the hike. The communal kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to prepare our own meals comfortably.
